It was quite a find when I came across this awesome handy app for half off 2 summers ago in 2011! I was in dire need of wifi on the go for my Mac laptop and I heard from a friend that smartphones could be tethered to computers for internet access through apps you could buy. I quickly did some research and found easytether. Ever since it has been an absolute godsend! I no longer have to shell out extra case for home internet since I have unlimited data with my mobile provider and the load times are more than quick, even back then on 3G! I currently own a 4G LTE and tethering has been just as great!

Thanks! I love this app!!!! I would have paid 10 bucks for this app again, and again, its completely worth it! Most bang for your buck you’ll ever get!

I’m 77 going on 78 years young and being set in my ways its understandable that I tend to be a little skeptical of products I haven’t heard much buzz about. I chose to shoot for the $10 and purchase this Easytether Pro. I’ve been tethering a Bionic Verizon for 30 bucks a month, which was ten dollars more that was I was paying with my old Droid X. So, I downloaded this app, connected it to my computer and Boom, Boom….I tethered up and flying through the internet within minutes! The only difficulty I really had was my own fault because I kept forgetting to activate the USB tether! I’ve got 4 bars of signal on my Bionic due to a booster and its my understanding from my carrier that the whole country will be 4G covered within the end of this year. Easytether is simply incredible. I’ve found nothing online that this little app can’t get me online, including doing my taxes via TurboTax. My lap-dock days are over and no more wasting money for internet access! I take an extra USB cord with me wherever I go so I can tether up to any computer I need to…

I’ve been through numerous other tethering apps that only worked fifty percent of the time, lost the connection after a bit, or just plain didn’t function at all! Easytether was 100% functional from the get go and has been 100% reliable ever since.
Our residence is right outside town and right at the edge of your average broadband/DSL internet service. We use Clear-Wire, which is alright the majority of the time for most anything. However, Easytether enables my 4G smartphone to tether via the USB port to my computer when I’m in need of a faster connection here and there.
At times when I go live on my podcasts I need the faster 4G speeds to for the video, and this app has been perfect for my first 3 podcasts, each of which were an hour long.
Works AWESOME great!

I live out in the boonies and my only real solution for broadband internet is either through satellite or from local wireless providers. I tend to go with the local service since it is A LOT more cost effective and I have no caps on how much I can upload or download as compared to the satellite BS.
However, its a mom and pop wireless company, so outages can be somewhat frequent. I play my hand in the stock market here and there and absolutely NEED internet access to get my trades in at the exact right time. So of course the internet will often go down at the worst possible time. With Easytether I just jack my android right into my computer and I’m saved! Can keep on trading until I’m blue in the face. This app has been a life preserver for me no doubt and it works GREAT!

This app deserves its five stars. It works as advertised, it’s easy to use, and it’s reliable. When it’s in use, it’s transparent – no “work-arounds” needed to use or work with the tethered PC or laptop. And, best of all, I don’t have to pay VZW for the use of equipment I already own! Truly, don’t leave home without EasyTether.

I could kiss you on the mouth for putting this app on sale for $9.99. I just downloaded over 700 megs in about two hours. That’s just the 80 windows updates I needed. Not to mention during that time I was downloading anti-virus software and making all kinds of system changes. It ran very smoothly downloading. Can’t wait to do a ping test to see what its doing as far as speed goes! Very satisfied so far! At&t you can kiss my no money paying tethered butt! haha!

For those of us not up to Rooting our phones this the best option available. I bought this app for my VZW Ally smartphone worked like a champ, recently upgraded to a VZW Spectrum this app auto installed i didn’t have to buy it again and on the 4g connection is almost as fast as my home isp. I use this for work and can access all https websites even the ones that end in .gov and .mil. And yeah i do alittle gaming to.
