Works for me!

I was trapped in the glorious airport this last Saturday and I attempted to get wireless internet, the airport tried to bill me eight bucks just for a brief couple of minutes! Naturally, I decided screw this! I remember the good ol’ days when you could get wifi for free at the ports….sad to say, those days are long gone. Then I thought duh! My Thunderbolt has the awesome power of transforming into a wifi hotspot so I could network it up with my laptop and use my dataplan. Originally when I got the phone there was absolutely no charge for the hotspot function. Of course NOW the wonderful Verizon would love to rape me for 30 bucks a month to use it! Is this happening? I mean…Really?!

Then the clouds parted and the light shined down,  revealing to me….Easytether…words cannot explain my excitement! Then it got better, wherever I looked I couldn’t find more than maybe 7 or 8 bad reviews and then what seemed like a billion five star wammers! So without further convincing in less than five minutes flat I had Easytether installed on my thunderbolt and the mobile-stream drivers loaded on my desktop PC and then I was launched into the wonderful high speed world of the web. It was a onetime ten bucks for this kickin’ app and an absolute bargain. Of course, you can always “root” your phone, which takes far longer than 5 minutes, plus run the risk of turning your phone into a brick….But if 10 measly dollars is a bank breaker for you, taking into consideration that you most likely shelled out a couple hundred greenbacks for the phone in the first place, then I’m bettin’ you’ve got other issues….

Easytether is by far the champion in my eyes!
