We bought a house where cable was not available. Initially I was nervous but the house was too good to pass up. I looked at all my options but couldn’t decide. So I bought a wilson desktop cellphone amplifier because the signal in the house stunk. Previously we were 0 maybe 2 bars of we were lucky. Now we are 3 to 6 bars. I put the indoor antenna next to the computer so it’s always 6 bars there.
After installing easy Tether and disabling the previous LAN it worked great. It makes dial up laughable and my wife thinks it’s as fast as road runner. My monthly bill for cable/phone/Internet just went from 180 to 45 dollars a month and I only paid a one time 10 bucks for easy Tether. Best 10 I’ve ever spent!
