Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy

Easytether implements a rigorous KYC program to verify the identity of users engaging in fiat currency transactions. Our KYC requirements are as follows:

  • Virtual currency only transactions: No identity verification is required (subject to change).
  • Fiat currency transactions: Certified copies of a valid government-issued ID (passport preferred) and proof of address (utility or tax bills dated within 3 months) are required prior to authorization.
  • Account status: Accounts remain in view-only mode until verification is complete.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

Easytether maintains a robust AML compliance program, including:

  • Continuous monitoring of transactions for suspicious activity.
  • Obligatory reporting of suspicious transactions to relevant regulatory and compliance bodies.
  • The right to refuse registration to individuals from jurisdictions that do not meet international AML standards.
  • The right to refuse service to Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) where required by law.
  • Immediate account suspension for any attempt to abuse the Easytether platform.

Sanctions Compliance

Easytether screens all users against applicable sanctions lists, including those maintained by OFAC, the EU, and the UN. We reserve the right to block or terminate accounts where sanctions compliance requires it.

Jurisdictional Restrictions

Easytether may not be available in all countries and regions. We reserve the right to restrict access to our platform in any jurisdiction where we determine that regulatory requirements cannot be met or where legal risk is unacceptable. It is the sole responsibility of each user to ensure compliance with applicable local laws and regulations before using the platform.
